We share good food, great company, and excellent conversations in a happy, sociable, dementia-friendly environment.

We offer a low cost, healthy menu that includes homemade soup, sandwiches, salads and cake: the cake is not so healthy but sometimes we have carrot cake!

At the end of each month we have a ‘special lunch’ or activity and always have Easter and Christmas celebrations. We receive funding from National Lottery Awards 4 All and donations from Bacup Fellowship of Churches which allows us to run some of our special lunches and activities for free.

We have games, jigsaws, dementia-friendly activities, a record player if someone wants to bring their own records but mostly our lovely lunch clubbers like a good old chinwag.

People can just turn up as often or as little as they like. Some activities need to be booked so we know numbers and we will share that information on our Facebook page: Community Assets Standing Tall.
