2026

 More works planned!

We are set to receive a significant capital grant in 2026 to upgrade two rooms into modern training spaces, in partnership with the East Lancashire Learning Group. This investment will expand the Centre’s capacity, enabling the delivery of more digital courses and transforming the building into a high-quality, inclusive digital learning hub for the wider district.

Working in partnership with organisations like Lancashire Adult Learning and DWP we hope to provide a range of accessible learning opportunities from 2026 on. This funding supports our commitment to connecting residents and businesses with the skills they need.

Since re-opening in 2021, the Centre has been hosting a wide range of events from fitness and wellbeing classes to arts and craft groups, support groups for various demographics, community events, church services, and private events. We are also housing several tenants such as local police, family services, social prescribing, and housing support.
