Community Assets Standing Tall.
We are a local community charity dedicated to the wellbeing of communities in Rossendale (Charity No. 1153512). We have 6 trustees who all live locally and all bring different skills and ideas to the table.
Since June 2013 we have secured funding for and run a variety of community projects in Rossendale. Projects around community assets, memory saving, cooking, to name a few.
Our current project, Thursday Lunch Club (TLC), previously called Dementia Café and Reminiscence Café, has been running since 2017 and has changed with the times. Within TLC we run various activities and are looking into some standalone cooking and mentoring projects for the near future.
Our office is in the ABD Centre, in the Beech Room.
We no longer get involved in heritage projects. We have done previously, but now Rossendale has Valley Heritage looking after our heritage.
